In Tuesday's league test, the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), by a score of 65-35.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Friday, February 7. Western Albemarle will attempt to improve on its 16-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 11-10 record after their 66-37 league win over Louisa County (Mineral, VA).
The Fighting Hornets (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos come into the Jefferson test with a 7-14 record. In their last test, Fluvanna County was routed by Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 78-38, in a league test.
