North Carolina High School Basketball - Person holds off Orange

The Person Rockets basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Orange Panthers to 52 in the Rockets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rockets (19-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles go into the 3A Central contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Eastern Alamance nipped Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC), 84-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) in a 3A Central contest, on Friday, February 7. Orange will attempt to better on its 16-6 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 4-17 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC).
