The Paris Wildcats tipped the host Pittsburg Pirates basketball team by a margin of 59-56 in Tuesday's league contest.
The Wildcats (21-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Hawks come into the 4A Region II District 14 contest with a 14-10 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Grove edged North Lamar (Paris, TX), 65-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Bonham Warriors (Bonham, TX) in a 4A Region II District 14 contest, on Friday, February 7. Pittsburg will attempt to better on its 14-18 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 16-14 record after their 57-34 league loss to Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX).
