Maine High School Basketball - Portland knocks off South Portland

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Portland Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 46-38 win over the South Portland Red Riots.
The Bulldogs (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cheverus (Portland, ME). The Stags come into the AA North contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Cheverus defeated Lewiston (Lewiston, ME), 49-48, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Riots battle the Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) in a AA South contest, on Thursday, February 6. South Portland will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 6-13 record after their 62-55 league win over Sanford (Sanford, ME).
