The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wellsville Eagles (Wellsville, KS) and the host Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS), observed Wellsville's basketball team overwhelm Prairie View by a score of 94-21.

The Eagles (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS). The Trojans come into the Pioneer challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Osawatomie trounced Iola (Iola, KS), 49-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Buffalos encounter the Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) in a Pioneer challenge, on Friday, February 7. Prairie View will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 53-51 league win over Iola (Iola, KS).
