North Carolina High School Basketball - River Mill overwhelmed by Southern Wake Academy

February 4, 2025: Graham, NC 27253

The Southern Wake Academy Lions bounced the host River Mill Jaguars basketball squad by a final score of 73-23 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Lions clash with the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel outing, on Friday, February 7. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 20-4 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 16-8 record after their 50-39 league win over Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC).

The Jaguars (2-21) will now prepare for their outing against Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC). The Aviators come into the 1A Central Tar Heel outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, Ascend Leadership was overwhelmed by American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC), 63-44, in a non-league outing.
