With the victory, Union County advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Patriots travel to Gibbs (Corryton, TN) to meet the Eagles in a 3A District 4 battle on Friday, February 7. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 11-14. Gibbs lost 61-51 in their recent league battle against Clinton (Clinton, TN)
The Highlanders now own a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midway for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. Scott will meet a Green Wave squad coming off a 77-58 non-league win over Wartburg Central (Wartburg, TN). The Green Wave record now stands at 14-7.
