In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Skiatook Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 58-48 triumph over the Vinita Hornets.

The Bulldogs (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Tulsa, OK). The Braves go into the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Central was topped by McLain Science & Tech (Tulsa, OK), 65-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the Miami Wardogs (Miami, OK) in a Verdigris Valley contest, on Friday, February 7. Vinita will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Wardogs go into the contest with a 8-11 record after their 74-71 league loss to Oologah (Oologah, OK).
