In Tuesday's league test, the Solon Springs Eagles (Solon Springs, WI) basketball squad trounced the visiting Washburn Castle Guards (Washburn, WI), by a score of 44-23.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Butternut Midgets (Butternut, WI) in a Northern Lights test, on Friday, February 7. Solon Springs will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Midgets come into the test with a 0-13 record after their 65-41 league loss to Mercer (Mercer, WI).

The Castle Guards (8-9) will now prepare for their test against South Shore (Port Wing, WI). The Cardinals come into the Northern Lights test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, South Shore was routed by Lac Courte Oreilles (Hayward, WI), 44-41, in a league test.
