The Cardinals (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Warriors come into the District 48 challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last challenge, Southwestern prevailed over Lincoln County (Stanford, KY), 64-57, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Somerset Christian will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 24-1 record after their 71-37 non-league win over Trinity (Whitesville, KY).
