The South County Stallions basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host West Springfield Spartans to 55 in the Stallions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Stallions now have a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Robinson for a District 4 game on Thursday, February 6. South County will confront a Rams team coming off a 64-51 league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Rams record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, West Springfield falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a District 4 game on Thursday, February 6. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 17-2. Woodson won 64-54 in their recent league game against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA)
