The Vinton Lions basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Westlake Rams to 47 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 18-15 record. They play next when they host East Beauregard for a 2A District 4 game on Friday, February 7. Vinton will confront a Trojans team coming off a 69-47 non-league loss to Many (Many, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 16-12.

With the loss, Westlake falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA) to confront the Trailblazers in a 3A District 3 game on Friday, February 7. The Trailblazers go into the game with a record of 21-4. Lake Charles College Prep won 51-49 in their recent league game against St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA)
