The George C. Marshall Statesmen basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals to 33 in the Statesmen non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Statesmen now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Herndon for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. George C. Marshall will confront a Hornets team coming off a 53-47 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Washington-Liberty falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Generals host Wakefield School (The Plains, VA) to confront the Fighting Owls in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Fighting Owls go into the game with a record of 4-2.
