The Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) basketball edged the visiting Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA), 51-44 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Musketeers now possess a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to West Laurens for a AAA Region 4 bout on Friday, February 7. Academy of Richmond County will play a Raiders team coming off a 78-11 league loss to Cross Creek (Augusta, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-17.
With the loss, Aquinas falls to 8-16 on the campaign. The Fightin' irish host Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Braves in a AAA Region 4 bout on Friday, February 7. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 18-6. Baldwin won 66-27 in their recent league bout against Cross Creek (Augusta, GA)
