The Monarchs now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Esperanza College Prep for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 5. Animo Robinson will play a Guerreros team coming off a 70-1 non-league loss to Aspire Ollin (Huntington Park, CA). The Guerreros record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Gertz-Ressler falls to 9-9 on the campaign. The Pumas host New Designs University Park (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Cardinals in a Metro bout on Monday, February 10. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 9-7.
