North Carolina High School Basketball - Maiden thwarts Bandys

February 4, 2025: Catawba, NC 28609

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) and the host Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), observed Maiden's basketball team knock off Bandys by a score of 55-46.

The Blue Devils (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears come into the 2A Catawba Valley challenge with a 6-15 record. In their last challenge, Bunker Hill dropped by East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC), 85-15, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a 2A Catawba Valley challenge, on Friday, February 7. Bandys will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 69-38 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
