Beggs Demons (Beggs, OK) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Kellyville Ponies (Kellyville, OK), 42-39 in a league match.
With the victory, Beggs advances its record to 9-9 on the year. The Demons travel to Preston (Preston, OK) to meet the Pirates in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 3-19. Preston won 34-25 in their recent non-league match against Henryetta (Henryetta, OK)
The Ponies now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eufaula for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Kellyville will meet a Ironheads squad coming off a 46-39 non-league win over Morris (Morris, OK). The Ironheads record now stands at 9-11.
