The New Ulm Eagles basketball team scored 95 points and limited the visiting Belle Plaine Tigers to 67 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Worthington for a AAA Section 2 game on Friday, February 7. New Ulm will confront a Trojans team coming off a 50-38 non-league loss to Western Christian (Hull, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-19.

With the loss, Belle Plaine falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN) to confront the Buccaneers in a AA Section 2 game on Friday, February 7. The Buccaneers go into the game with a record of 0-18.
