North Carolina High School Basketball - Ben L. Smith routs Southern Guilford

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles basketball team scored a big 47-26 win over the Southern Guilford Storm.
The Golden Eagles (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Bison come into the 3A Mid-State contest with a 0-20 record. In their last contest, High Point Central was trounced by Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC), 66-15, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Storm battle the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a 3A Mid-State contest, on Friday, February 7. Southern Guilford will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 40-23 league win over Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC).
