Arizona High School Basketball - San Tan Foothills sneaks past Bourgade Catholic

The San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ) basketball edged the visiting Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), 39-38 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Sabercats now possess a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Northwest Christian for a 3A Metro bout on Thursday, February 6. San Tan Foothills will play a Crusaders team coming off a 54-24 non-league win over Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Crusaders record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, Bourgade Catholic falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Chargers in a 3A Metro bout on Thursday, February 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 10-14. Benjamin Franklin won 57-21 in their recent non-league bout against Gilbert Classical Academy (Gilbert, AZ)
