The Brevard Blue Devils basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Chase Trojans to 16 in the Blue Devils league win on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers come into the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, East Rutherford was trounced by Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 44-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 contest, on Friday, February 7. Chase will attempt to better on its 3-17 season record. The Wolverines come into the contest with a 17-1 record after their 58-18 league win over R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC).
