The Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) basketball crushed the host Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 31-8 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Jackson Day for a 1A Metro 8 bout on Friday, February 7. Sugar Creek Charter will play a Mariners team coming off a 52-36 league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 15-9.
With the loss, Carolina International falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Comets host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to play the Stallions in a 1A Metro 8 bout on Wednesday, February 5. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Queen's Grant won 86-12 in their recent league bout against Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC)
