The Stephenson Jaguars bounced the visiting Cedar Grove Saints basketball squad by a final score of 48-13 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next, the Jaguars clash with the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) in a AAA Region 5 outing, on Friday, February 7. Stephenson will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 5-17 record after their 39-20 league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, GA).
The Saints (10-12) will now prepare for their outing against Luella (Luella, GA). The Lions enter the AAA Region 5 outing with a 21-3 record. In their last outing, Luella routed Douglass (Atlanta, GA), 66-29, in a league outing.
