The Aztec Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Canton Preparatory (Canton, MI). The Chargers come into the Detroit Metro challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Canton Preparatory trounced Star International Academy (Dearborn Heights, MI), 36-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Taylor Prep Tigers (Taylor, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Merritt Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 74-38 non-league loss to Advanced Tech Academy (Dearborn, MI).
