In Tuesday's league test, the High Tech Mesa Thunder (San Diego, CA) basketball squad trounced the host Chula Vista Learning Community Charter Cobras (San Diego, CA), by a score of 67-9.
Next, the Thunder clash with the Coastal Academy Stingrays (Oceanside, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 7. High Tech Mesa will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Stingrays come into the test with a 12-5 record after their 38-35 league win over Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA).
The Cobras (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Charter (Alpine, CA). The Lions come into the non-league test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Liberty Charter bounced Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA), 28-27, in a league test.
