The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Climax-Scotts Panthers (Climax, MI) and the visiting St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI), observed Climax-Scotts's basketball team overwhelm St. Philip Catholic Central by a margin of 63-20.

The Panthers (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Colon (Colon, MI). The Magi come into the Southern Central challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Colon was trounced by Bellevue (Bellevue, MI), 35-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Fighting Tigers battle the Mendon Hornets (Mendon, MI) in a Southern Central challenge, on Friday, February 7. St. Philip Catholic Central will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 36-26 non-league win over Howardsville Christian (Marcellus, MI).
