The Northeast Bearcats basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Community Trojans to 32 in the Bearcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bearcats now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host New Franklin for a Central game on Friday, February 7. Northeast will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-42 non-league loss to Boonville (Boonville, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Community falls to 13-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Pilot Grove (Pilot Grove, MO) to confront the Tigers in a Central game on Friday, February 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-18. Pilot Grove lost 58-44 in their recent non-league game against Knob Noster (Knob Noster, MO)
