The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dumas Bobcats (Dumas, AR) and the visiting Drew Central Pirates (Monticello, AR), observed Dumas's basketball team overcome Drew Central by a margin of 48-34.

The Bobcats (23-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rison (Rison, AR). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Rison defeated DeWitt (DeWitt, AR), 57-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the McGehee Owls (McGehee, AR) in a 3A Region 8 bout, on Friday, February 7. Drew Central will attempt to move on its 20-5 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 42-10 league win over Central (West Helena, AR).
