The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) and the visiting East Hall Vikings (Gainesville, GA), observed Jefferson's basketball team overcome East Hall by a margin of 69-53.

The Dragons (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Bears come into the AAA Region 8 challenge with a 17-7 record. In their last challenge, Cherokee Bluff dropped by Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA), 49-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) in a AAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, February 7. East Hall will attempt to better on its 12-11 season record.
