The MacArthur Highlanders (Lawton, OK) basketball were winner over the visiting Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK), 53-42 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Highlanders now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast for a 5A District 1 bout on Friday, February 7. MacArthur will play a Spartans team coming off a 71-25 league loss to El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Spartans record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Elgin falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Owls host Santa Fe South (Oklahoma City, OK) to play the Saints in a 5A District 1 bout on Friday, February 7. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 0-20. Santa Fe South lost 87-12 in their recent league bout against Guymon (Guymon, OK)
