The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fargo North Spartans (Fargo, ND) and the visiting Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND), saw Fargo North's basketball team nip Grand Forks Central by a tally of 69-65.

The Spartans now possess a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Red River for a AA East bout on Friday, February 7. Fargo North will play a Roughriders team coming off a 63-34 league win over Fargo South (Fargo, ND). The Roughriders record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Grand Forks Central falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Knights host Fargo Davies (Fargo, ND) to play the Eagles in a AA East bout on Friday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Fargo Davies won 45-44 in their recent non-league test against East Ridge (Woodbury, MN)
