The Farwell Steers basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Olton Mustangs to 25 in the Steers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Steers now have a 30-3 record. They play next when they host Floydada for a non-league game on Monday, February 10. Farwell will confront a Whirlwinds team coming off a 51-33 non-league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, TX). The Whirlwinds record now stands at 15-15.

With the loss, Olton falls to 23-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to New Deal (New Deal, TX) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Lions go into the game with a record of 21-13. New Deal lost 38-23 in their recent league game against New Home (New Home, TX)
