In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host North Middlesex Regional Patriots basketball team scored a close 37-31 triumph over the Fitchburg Red Raiders.

The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against North (Worcester, MA). The Polar Bears go into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, North nipped Murdock (Winchendon, MA), 47-22, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Marlborough Panthers (Marlborough, MA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Fitchburg will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record.
