The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) and the visiting Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA), observed Fontainebleau's basketball team overwhelm Hammond by a margin of 51-18.

The Bulldogs (12-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA). The Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 15-8 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Carmel was trounced by St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA), 46-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tornadoes battle the Covington Lions (Covington, LA) in a 5A District 6 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Hammond will attempt to better on its 6-17 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 7-15 record after their 63-18 league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA).
