The Fort Worth Christian Cardinals basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Grapevine Faith Christian Lions to 37 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now have a 14-19 record. They play next when they host Southwest Christian School for a TAPPS 5A District 1 game on Friday, February 7. Fort Worth Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 56-50 league loss to Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 22-9.

With the loss, Grapevine Faith Christian falls to 9-13 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX) to confront the Lions in a TAPPS 5A District 1 game on Friday, February 7. The Lions go into the game with a record of 10-20. Trinity Christian lost 46-20 in their recent league game against Midland Christian (Midland, TX)
