The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs (Gibsland, LA) and the host Saline Bobcats (Saline, LA), observed Gibsland-Coleman's basketball team edge Saline by a score of 43-42.

The Bulldogs (15-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Green Oaks (Shreveport, LA). The Giants come into the non-league challenge with a 2-18 record.

In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Claiborne Christian Crusaders (West Monroe, LA) in a C District 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Saline will attempt to improve on its 7-17 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 16-11 record after their 40-38 non-league win over D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA).
