Tennessee High School Basketball - Westview knocks off Gibson County

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Westview Chargers (Martin, TN) and the host Gibson County Pioneers (Dyer, TN), observed Westview's basketball team overcome Gibson County by a score of 65-49.
The Chargers (21-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Peabody (Trenton, TN). The Golden Tide come into the 2A District 14 challenge with a 3-17 record. In their last challenge, Peabody defeated Milan (Milan, TN), 46-22, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pioneers battle the South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Gibson County will attempt to improve on its 20-7 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 20-5 record after their 62-26 league win over Dyer County (Newbern, TN).
