In Tuesday's league contest, the host Indian River Braves basketball team scored a good 49-34 triumph over the Great Bridge Wildcats.
The Braves (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies go into the Southeastern contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Grassfield was toppled by King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 46-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern contest, on Friday, February 7. Great Bridge will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 6-12 record after their 81-22 league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA).
