The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) and the host GVCS Broadfording Lions (Hagerstown, MD), observed Musselman's basketball team overwhelm GVCS Broadfording by a margin of 64-43.
The Applemen (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV). The Cardinals come into the Eastern Panhandle challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Spring Mills trounced Washington (Charles Town, WV), 61-54, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. GVCS Broadfording will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
