North Carolina High School Basketball - Hoke County holds off Southern Lee

February 4, 2025: Sanford, NC 27332

The Hoke County Bucks basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Southern Lee Cavaliers to 53 in the Bucks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bucks now possess a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Union Pines for a 3A/4A Sandhills game on Friday, February 7. Hoke County will confront a Vikings team coming off a 69-20 league win over Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 19-1.

With the loss, Southern Lee falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to confront the Raiders in a 3A/4A Sandhills game on Monday, February 10. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 14-5.
