The Humboldt Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host St. Edmond Gaels to 41 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Iowa Falls-Alden for a North Central game on Friday, February 7. Humboldt will play a Cadets team coming off a 40-28 league loss to Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, St. Edmond falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Indians go into the game with a record of 14-5. Pocahontas won 45-34 in their recent league game against East Sac County (Lake View, IA)
