The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hurley Tigers (Hurley, MO) and the visiting Verona Wildcats (Verona, MO), observed Hurley's basketball team overwhelm Verona by a margin of 56-17.

The Tigers (13-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheaton (Wheaton, MO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Wheaton was trounced by Southwest (Washburn, MO), 50-27, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the New Covenant Academy Warriors (Springfield, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Verona will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record.
