In Tuesday's non-league test, the Independence Bulldogs (Independence, KS) basketball squad trounced the visiting Independent Panthers (Wichita, KS), by a final score of 43-21.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Labette County Grizzlies (Altamont, KS) in a Southeast Kansas test, on Friday, February 7. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the test with a 12-3 record after their 53-44 league loss to Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS).

The Panthers (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Kingman (Kingman, KS). The Eagles come into the Central Plains test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Kingman was overwhelmed by Conway Springs (Conway Springs, KS), 39-33, in a league test.
