Louisiana High School Basketball - Loranger overwhelms Independence

The Loranger Wolves basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Independence Tigers to 22 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now possess a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Doyle for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Loranger will confront a Tigers team coming off a 52-45 league win over Albany (Albany, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 18-6.
With the loss, Independence falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA) to confront the Falcons in a 2A District 9 contest on Friday, February 7. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 10-18.
