With the victory, Piedmont Academy upgrades its record to 21-4 on the year. The Cougars host First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA) to face the Vikings in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 match on Friday, February 7. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 13-9. First Presbyterian Day won 49-35 in their recent league match against Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA)

The Trojans now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount de Sales Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 match on Friday, February 7. John Milledge Academy will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 60-25 league loss to Stratford Academy (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 10-13.
