Georgia High School Basketball - Twiggs County trounced by Johnson County

The Twiggs County Cobras basketball squad (Jeffersonville, GA), was crushed 64-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA)

With the victory, Johnson County advances its record to 13-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Hancock Central (Sparta, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a A D2 Region 5 battle on Wednesday, February 5. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 12-6. Hancock Central won 42-20 in their recent league battle against Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA)

The Cobras now own a 2-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Upson-Lee for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. Twiggs County will meet a Knights squad coming off a 48-28 league win over Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Knights record now stands at 9-12.
