The Jonesport-Beals Royals basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Woodland Dragons to 45 in the Royals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Royals now have a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Machias for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. Jonesport-Beals will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-43 league win over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Woodland falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Calais (Calais, ME) to confront the Blue Devils in a C North game on Thursday, February 6. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 13-4. Calais won 57-38 in their recent league game against Sumner (East Sullivan, ME)
