The LaFayette Ramblers basketball squad (LaFayette, GA), lost 47-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA)
With the victory, Northwest Whitfield advances its record to 14-6 on the year. The Bruins host Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to meet the Bobcats in a AAA Region 7 battle on Friday, February 7. The Bobcats enter the battle with a record of 14-8. Gilmer won 43-40 in their recent league battle against Heritage (Ringgold, GA)
The Ramblers now own a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Adairsville for a AAA Region 7 battle on Friday, February 7. LaFayette will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 52-39 league loss to Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-14.
