The Limestone Rockets basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Metamora Redbirds to 44 in the Rockets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rockets now have a 13-14 record. They play next when they host Pekin for a Mid-Illini game on Friday, February 7. Limestone will confront a Dragons team coming off a 48-40 league loss to Canton (Canton, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 15-12.

With the loss, Metamora moves to 15-13 on the season. The Redbirds travel to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL) to battle the Raiders in a Mid-Illini challenge on Friday, February 7. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 13-15. East Peoria lost 72-34 in their recent league challenge against Morton (Morton, IL)
