In Tuesday's league contest, the host Lockport Porters basketball team scored a close 51-47 win over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors.
The Porters (24-4) will now prepare for their contest against Morris (Morris, IL). The Redskins come into the non-league contest with a 22-3 record. In their last contest, Morris edged Andrew (Tinley Park, IL), 63-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban contest, on Thursday, February 6.
